The Trustee can extend that deadline, or the Debtor can request more time from the Court before the deadline expires, but if its not extended the Code says the case SHALL BE DISMISSED pursuant to 11 USC 1307(e).

Judge Somers has announced that he will be remote for the Docket. I will be remote as well. I will also be out of my office this Thursday and Friday before Memorial Day Weekend, so I will not be available to discuss cases on the phone before next Tuesday the 26th. I hopefully will be available on the 26th to discuss and resolve issues, but that also will not be in time to take a given case off of Wednesday’s docket. If you have issues that we can resolve via email, or will agree to the trustee’s recommendation in a particular case, please send me that by email.
