Please take note that the Office of Carl B. Davis Chapter 13 Trustee is making a change to the manner in which plan payments are processed.
Historically, this office has utilized a payment cutoff date of the 20th day of each month to allow sufficient time for processing payments and making distributions in the first few days of the following month. Over time, this practice has become the minority approach among Chapter 13 trustees. Recent technology and process improvements now allow us to shorten the time required to process payments for distribution.
Beginning February 27, 2026, and continuing thereafter, end-of-month processing will extend through the last business day of each month. Payments received during the final three business days of a month will be held and processed during the following month’s processing period.
Debtor plan payments will be due thirty (30) days after the filing date, in the month following the filing of the case.
Attorney fee payments made by ACH and creditor checks will be disbursed no later than the 7th day of each month.
