Greetings.

As has been widely discussed, the UST has mandated a change in the Section 341 Hearing Format from Telephonic, to ZOOM Video.  My version of “Video Killed the Radio Star” kicks off with the 9:30am docket on June 14, 2024.  My plan this week is to have the Zoom Meeting Room up a little bit before 5pm on Monday (6/3) and Wednesday (6/5) to test system setup and functionality.  If you want to, you can connect to the meeting and become familiar with what my version of this will look like and how it may, or may not, work.  If you are so inclined, prepare your favorite end of work day beverage and consider this a Happy Hour networking opportunity.  This should be a lot like every other Zoom meeting you have ever done.  When you connect, you should be placed in the Waiting Room where an entertaining and informative video will play on a loop.  My plan is to admit into the meeting room all those in the waiting room at once, much like when participants arrived for their in person 341 meetings and the trustee was late with the key to the door.  It will be just me managing all aspects of the Zoom meeting. Solo. Alone.  So we will see how that goes.  If the opportunity arises, I will ATTEMPT to add an interpreter to the meeting to see if that task can be achieved.  Please do not invite DEBTORS to these practice sessions.  I am not planning a practice session for Debtors. This is just for the attorneys. Should be a short meeting.
